Grant K. Fennell’s recently released first album has received a fantastic review from the local music website Croon. The review is highly detailed and praises lots of different aspects of Grant’s album commenting on the use of “small oddities” such as the cough on 3 O clock and the distinctive sound of Grant’s voice which they describe as a “meeting point between the psych-folk tones of Devendra Banhart and the more assured vocal range of Grizzly Bear.”
These comments, along with many others Croon have made about Grant’s fantastic first album lead them to give it an incredible rating of 9/10, telling their readers it’s “time you went and listened to ‘Cold Home & The Family Bones’”
