City Of Lights are recording there debut album at LOOM studio.
The band are still in their infancy yet they have been giging around the UK including recent dates with HMV’s next big thing The Dunwells.
Which makes them a band to watch out for.

The superbly talented Luke Hirst new project Eskimo Fandango has got a fantastic new video for the title track song off his new EP Record Shops which was recorded at LOOM. Record Shops is a great first track off the new EP and the video back’s it up by being equally as brilliant so check it out.

LittleVegas Lies have had one of their fantastic songs Standing Room Only, which was recorded here at LOOM, played on Tom Robinson BBC 6 music show. 
The track taken from there new Domino EP which was played at the end of the show this just shows how well Little Vegas Lie are doing and no doubt more of there amazing songs will make it on to shows like this.

The fantastically talented, innovative Biscuithead and The Biscuit Badgers are recording a new track yesterday and today at LOOM. Their unique comedy style is wowing audiences throughout the UK and are in Sheffield this Friday at Penelope’s and in the smoke Saturday and Sunday at The Victoria E3 (Saturday) and Madame Jojo’s (Sunday). We are really enjoying recording their highly creative music. Check them out!!!
Steve Whitfield is also in the studio today sitting in on the session. He is just back from the states where he was again working with The Cure and will be back at LOOM on Friday with The Ran-Tan Waltz.

has joined our roster of freelance producers. Whiskas has over 10 years of experience in the music business gaining success from playing in his band Forward Russia and record label Dance To The Radio. He also has plenty of studio experience from wor
king with artists such as Jonny Foreigner, You Animals, Sam Airey and Blood Oranges. Whiskas will join the international roster of producers Loom has to offer to our clients from the likes of Steve Whitfield (The Cure, Shed 7) and Jeff T Smith (Runners) who use the studio regularly. Its great to have Whiskas working here and we can’t wait to hear more of his fantastic work. Our fantastic in house vintage piano is being tweaked to perfection as we speak, in preparation for The Dunwells Loom debut this week. They are recording a brand new track which will be mixed by John Porter (The Smiths) in the US. Can’t wait to get started on this project. Meanwhile their debut single “I Could Be A King” is out now on iTunes.

October is over. a great busy and exciting month full of notable acts and activity with the likes of Dave Hanson from The Dunwell’s who was producing The City of Lights latest release plus we had Little Vegas Lies and Codego finishing off there amazing latest EPs.
Rose De La Punk was in the studio several times, and along with those guys The Sighting were back to make some more synth based Indie Rock. Grant also managed to find the time to go to a wedding in Hull during this hectic period when he thought about signing the entertainer but no – he didn’t like the name Elvis for the act.
What a month – bring on November.
